about

I live in Teesside and have been a keen photographer since my teenage years. I started out photography using a Russian Zenit camera and doing my own B&W developing and printing. Over the years I've had various cameras and currently use a Nikon Z7II and have my Nikon D610 as a backup. After retiring I wanted to take my photography up a level and became a member of the Royal Photographic Society in 2013, gaining my RPS Licentiate Distinction in May 2014.
My interests in photography cover Landscape, Cityscape, Architecture, Travel and Sport, especially motor sport.

I had my image "Chanting Goshawk" shortlisted for RPS-365 monthly competition Image of the Year 2019
